The Lord has been extremely faithful to me. For the past few years He has kept me here preparing me for whatever good work He has planned for my life. He has provided the time and money for me to attend California Baptist University to study Liberal Studies with a Concentration in math and Global Studies. Simply stated, my studies are preparing me to teach math wherever God calls me, including over seas. CBU is close enough to home that I am able to still attend Calvary Chapel Murrieta and be involved with some weekend college group activities and other activities. As most of you know, I have a heart for the lost and love to reach out and become their friend while sharing who Jesus truly is. The Lord has been faithful and is opening up doors for me to have a chance to serve overseas once again.
May 17, I leave for an amazing journey to Central Asia with a handful of other students from CBU, through the Global Center at CBU, to participate in the ACTS program. This program’s focus is developing relationships with Muslim university students for the purpose of sharing my life in Christ. The country I will be going to is 99% Muslim and very few have heard the true message of Jesus Christ. This trip will allow me to be involved in cultural immersion, relationship development, growing in my understanding of the Muslim faith and participating in organized events to gather students as a way to open doors of conversation to the gospel. I return from this journey in the beginning week of July.
I would like to ask you to join me in this adventure. I ask that you prayerfully consider how God might lead you to join with me on this ministry opportunity. By the beginning of May, I am required to raise $3600. This money covers all my travel and all my in country expenses for the six and a half weeks. There are two ways in which you can join me in this ministry opportunity. First, I need you to pray and ask God if He is guiding you to participate in financial support of this opportunity. Second, I need the support of prayer. Your financial gift will help me get to Central Asia, but your prayers will make the trip a success. As the trip gets closer I will continue to keep you updated on what myself and the team need prayer for.
