Best Friends

I love my best friend. I met her in 8th grade when she came to my school. We became good friends on the school trip to the East Coast. After that trip we became inseparable. There has only been a 6 month time frame in our friendship when we were not speaking to each other. We look back and laugh about it now. She has been the greatest friend I could ask for. She never judges me and just listens intently to everything I have to say. I do the same for her. It's a great friendship!

Yesterday, she came to visit me at school and we took an afternoon adventure to Huntington Beach which is about 45 minutes away. It was so nice to walk the pier and sit on the beach and just talk about what is going on in our lives. We realized we hadn't had a picture together since Andrew was in Hawaii (2008). I guess you get used to your best friend always being there. So we fixed that yesterday! Below is a picture of us when we were in high school and then the one we took yesterday. I am so blessed with her as a friend!

This was sophomore year homecoming. The theme was international and I think every girl came as a princess from another country. Jess was spanish and I was European. Haha! We were 15 here.

We're almost 21 now!! A lot has changed! We might not go to the same school anymore but we are still best friends!
